The Process
What to Expect on the Day
On the day of your photoshoot, I’ll arrive and take some time to explore the location, ensuring we find the best backdrops for your horse. I’ll also spend a few moments meeting your horse or pony, allowing them to get comfortable with me and my camera before we begin. A relaxed and familiar environment helps bring out their natural personality in the photos.

Once we’ve chosen the perfect spots, I’ll start capturing a mix of portraits and action shots. It’s always helpful if the owner can assist—whether it’s positioning the horse, encouraging movement, or grabbing their attention for that perfect expression. Throughout the session, I take a patient and flexible approach, allowing plenty of time for breaks so your horse stays relaxed and happy.

Session Length
Each photoshoot is tailored to your horse’s comfort and energy levels, with flexible session lengths to ensure we capture the perfect moments without feeling rushed. You can choose from short 1-2 hour sessions, longer 2-4 hour sessions or a full day shoot.
Bad Weather
If the weather isn’t ideal, don’t worry! I offer rescheduling to ensure we shoot in the best conditions for stunning photos.
Optional Extras
Customize your session with extras like highly detailed edits great for printing, professionally framed prints or a canvas.
What you get
Included in the price for the session will be all the edited digital files available for you to download and print.
Flexible Locations
Whether at home, a favorite field, or a scenic outdoor spot, I can travel to a location that best suits you and your horse.

While we have a plan, the horse’s comfort comes first. We’ll go at their pace, capturing natural moments without forcing any poses or situations. The best photos happen when they feel relaxed and at ease.
